Patch - Gator Improvements


Hello! The team wants to thank you all for the warm reception the game has been receiving. We've been working hard since the jam started to make our first Godot game a great one, and now that the jam is over, we're still hard at work to keep supporting the game with updates and content. The first of these updates is the subject of this devlog, our first patch! While not full of new things, this patch mostly includes visual tweaks and bugfixes that polish the game further, but it also includes some minor changes to some levels to make things a bit more fair to players. You can find the patch notes below:

[NEW]:

- Updated menu screen

- Added new run animation

[BUGFIXES]:

- Fixed bug where the player's sprite would clip into the floor while sliding

- The sliding animation now only displays when the player is sliding on the floor

- Fixed bug where pressing down while wall would change the player's sprite to the one used while sliding on the floor

- Fixed bug where player could quick-restart while the level clear animation was playing

[CHANGES]:

- Decreased "Kill barrier" height limit when falling out of the level

- Added an obstacle in the latter half of Level 2

- Made a precise jump in Level 3 a little less precise

- Added decorations to Level 2
